I hail from post-Soviet omorashi community. For almost ten years I've participated and ran various sites where people met to discuss things and share stuff. Over the years, I came to realize more and more people are interested in video content exclusively, while stories and discussions slowly died out. My priorities and tasks shifted accordingly - it was no longer about providing a place to meet, it was now about securing funding, procuring content and then ensuring stability of the platform. After all, it's super frustrating to see valuable content lost, with no hope of recovery.

Fortunately, running a fetish community means you get to make connections. At some point, I met the admin of PissRIP. Friendly chatter between like-minded individuals and exchange of content eventually blossomed into a partnership. Back in November 2020 I suggested creating a site that would be based on PissRIP's platform and would hold the collection which our community managed to amass over the years. This is how DesperVids came to be.

The site started small, but grew popular over time. More content was added, and some was moved over from PissRIP, which has since focused on pissing and piss voyeur. This days DesperVids is one of the most active VIDS sites - an incredible result for a niche fetish! I did not expect so many people to share my vision. Speaking of which...

The site aims to gather, share and preserve a collection of quality female pee desperation videos. Quality is what I try to push for here - as one of my forums' members taught me back in the day, there is no point uploading lousy clips just to maintain daily updates.

The content is scarce, but very diverse - from studio footage to voyeur clips to movies to video games; it can be genuine, it can be staged, but - above all - it should be good desperation. While wetting is always a welcome sight, this site uniquely values desperation as its own thing.

Even though some sites this days try to be as inclusive as possible and please everyone, I would like to see my members always able to find what they came here for - which is why the site features female pee desperation exclusively and quite some content that today associates itself with omorashi is not allowed here. Same logic holds for naked content - years of forums experience taught me it turns some folks away and is not worth the hassle.

This site has no ads whatsoever. This is because I'm not a huge fan of driving away my potential members with cancerous ads that I have no control over and that might potentially harm their device. Moreover, in this day and age everyone got an AdBlocker running, which kinda defeats the purpose. And lastly, this site's audience is not that significant, so setting up ads is not worth the trouble.

This means this site is fully monetized through Access. The fetish is niche, the audience is smaller, and the good content is scarce and often has a price tag on it. Which means the prices have to be set accordingly to keep this whole operation viable.

Running this site is also quite labor-intensive, especially when it comes to procuring content for "Movies and Shows", "Streams" or "Voyeur Desperation" - watching through tons of trash in search of hidden gems, cutting, editing, and so on. Which means it has become a full-time job for me.
